Programme
Dear Esteemed Participants,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our immense pleasure to welcome you to the Global Environmental Sustainability (GES) Forum 2025 in the electrifying metropolis of Bangkok —a city where golden temples whisper ancient wisdom beneath neon-lit skylines, and the rhythm of progress dances to the beat of cultural heritage. This year, we unite as global changemakers, driven by a singular vision: to ignite transformative action for a sustainable planet through innovation, collaboration, and shared purpose.
Over the coming days, Bangkok will become a crucible of ideas, hosting the world’s foremost scientists, policymakers, and sustainability leaders. Your days will be thoughtfully structured to maximize inspiration and impact:
— 9:00–10:00: Kickstart each morning with visionary keynote speeches from globally renowned experts, setting the tone for groundbreaking discussions.
— 10:00–10:30: Recharge with a coffee and tea break—an ideal moment to connect with peers amid the aromatic swirl of Thai spices and freshly brewed ideas.
— 10:30–13:00: Dive into parallel sessions tackling pressing themes—from circular economies to climate resilience. Engage in debates, workshops, and lightning talks that unpack the latest research and policy innovations.
— 13:00–14:00: Enjoy a curated networking lunch (by invitation), where interdisciplinary dialogues flourish over vibrant Thai cuisine.
— 16:00 onward: Embark on working excursions to Bangkok’s pioneering industrial and sustainability landmarks—smart energy hubs, zero-waste facilities, and urban green spaces redefining modern infrastructure.
Don’t miss the Poster Presentations in the Grand Lobby, a dynamic showcase of grassroots innovations and academic breakthroughs. Wander through this living gallery of ideas, chat with creators, and let their work spark your next collaboration!
As dusk falls, surrender to the magic of our Nightlights of Bangkok Tour, where the city’s iconic Chao Phraya River glimmers under starlight, bustling night markets burst with color and flavor, and historic landmarks like Wat Arun stand as testaments to timeless resilience.
At GES Forum, connection is key. Forge alliances with pioneers at our Innovation Pavilion, where exhibitors showcase breakthroughs in renewable tech, circular economies, and AI-driven climate solutions. Dive into the Partner Hub—a nexus of opportunity—to discover grants, collaborations, and tools that could catapult your work to global impact.
Mark your calendar for Thursday’s Sustainability Gala, a dazzling evening of fusion cuisine, traditional dance performances, and the unveiling of the GES Global Impact Awards, honoring unsung heroes whose work is healing our planet.
We urge you to engage with the GES 2025 Legacy Project, an initiative channeling resources into climate-vulnerable regions. Visit our main booth to learn how your expertise can empower marginalized communities, turning their challenges into blueprints for resilience.
As you network, pause to acknowledge colleagues navigating droughts, floods, or displacement. Let their courage fuel your discussions, and let this forum amplify their solutions.
To our tireless Organizing Committee, sponsors, and volunteers—thank you for crafting an experience as bold and multifaceted as Bangkok itself. Every session, tour, and interaction has been meticulously designed to spark inspiration and drive tangible progress.
So embrace this moment. Ask bold questions, share daring ideas, and let the spirit of Bangkok—a city that thrives on reinvention—remind us that sustainability is not a destination, but a journey we shape together.
Here’s to a week of breakthroughs, unity, and wonder in one of Earth’s most captivating cities. Welcome to GES Forum 2025—where the future begins today.
With enthusiasm,
